Description
You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. The 13-week recovery support group is held Wednesday evenings at CMBC. It will start January 23.
GriefShare has helped many people. The following is part of a testimony from a past participant:
“I waited 12 years to deal with the loss of my husband. I built a wall around the grief and did everything I could to ignore it. That ‘non-coping’ caused me to make many painful mistakes. I began doubting God’s love and looked for completeness in all the wrong directions.
After I lost my father, I knew I needed to learn to deal with the pain God’s way. God used GriefShare to heal me so that now I am able to accept the loss, talk about my loved ones without tears of regret, and continue on with the life God has given me, no longer feeling guilt or rejection. I’m not afraid or angry anymore.”
If you are interested, call Pastor Cathy Cedergreen at 503-644-3156 to register.
Why go it alone, when God has given us one another?
