Freedom Fellowship

An adults-only community for justice-involved believers.

If you’ve recently been released from prison, are still in the Restitution Center, have family or friends in prison, or have an interest in prison ministry, you are invited to check out Freedom Fellowship. Join us on alternating Monday evenings for a time of worship, prayer and fellowship.

As a Prison Fellowship Bridge Church, we provide trained mentors for individuals while they are still in prison, and then continue to mentor them  and help them get established in our Christian community upon their release

We currently meet everyother Monday from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Cedar Mill Bible Church office located at 14273 Science Park Drive (Behind Sunset High School in Beaverton) which is about five minutes from the actual church location.

Freedom Fellowship Guiding Principles

• We are driven by Jesus’s words in Matthew 25, that “visiting” those in prison is the same as if we did it to Him; and motivated by Hebrews 13:3 “Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them.”
• We realize that those who have justice-involved histories are no more sinful than those who have none.
• We recognize that God is in the business of redeeming and restoring individuals to Himself.
• We believe that, on the basis of II Corinthians 1:3-7, that those who have served time and have experienced  comfort, joy and victory in Jesus Christ are able to be an encouragement to other people who have recently been released.
• One-on-one discipleship, accountability, and confidentiality, are hallmarks of our ministry.
• We operate under the authority of Cedar Mill Bible Church and its elders, and adhere to the church’s doctrinal statement.
