What happens at KidFest?

KidFest is a joy-filled, fun week where volunteers are privileged to teach children about God’s story and what Jesus did for them. Kids will learn new songs, watch a drama, and enjoy recreation time with inflatables, games, and popcorn. They will also participate in options such as art, basketball, boardgames, and woodworking. The entire week is about giving children a chance to make new friends and build relationships based on God’s love.

Who Can Attend?

Children, age 4 years old (by July 1) to those entering 6th grade (entering in September 2013).

Do You Have to Attend CMBC?

No. Any child of the appropriate age may attend KidFest. Affiliation with Cedar Mill Bible Church, or any church, is not a requirement.

What is the Cost?

The cost is $25 per child for the whole week (includes a T-shirt). To those who attend CMBC, please register by May 31 so we can staff appropriately and welcome those from the community for last minute sign-ups. Registrations may still be accepted after May 31, but will be $35/child and based on space available. If you’re interested in financial assistance, please contact Pastor Nancy Scofield at the church office to make special arrangements. Financial aid comes from the CMBC Benevolence Fund. If you would like to contribute to this fund, please make your check payable to “Cedar Mill Bible Church” and designate it for the Benevolence Fund.

Volunteers

We need volunteers to help! We need crew leaders to work directly with kids daily, building relationships with them. For those who want to serve, but not directly with kids, or need a more flexible schedule, we need help in registration, snack prep, recreation, stocking supplies, folding t-shirts, etc.. We supply childcare for all volunteers. If you have young kids not old enough to attend, you can still help.
