On-site Care Ministries

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered healing and spiritual growth model for people struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. By working and applying biblical recovery principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Chapel. For more information, call the church office at 503-644-3156 ext. 305, email, or download our brochure here.

We offer limited pastoral counseling that is biblically based for individual and marital needs.

Contact the church office at 503-644-3156 for more information.

The Benevolence Fund
We believe in loving our neighbor, whatever it takes. The Benevolence Fund provides financial aid to those with urgent needs and helps people get back on their feet in the long-term. We can assist with utility bills, rent, and various other needs.

Freedom Fellowship
An adults only community for justice-involved believers.

If you’ve recently been released from prison, are still in the Restitution Center, have family or friends in prison, or have an interest in prison ministry, you are invited to check out Freedom Fellowship.

As a Prison Fellowship Bridge Church, we provide trained mentors for individuals while they are still in prison, and then continue to mentor them and help them get established in our Christian community upon their release.

Email Rick for more information.

Freedom Fellowship meets the 1st and 3rd Monday’s from 7:00-9:00 pm at Elmer’s, 1250 NW Waterhouse

Hands In Service (H.I.S.)
One of the things being a disciple means is that we take care others in all kinds of ways. Jesus reached out to meet physical needs, so we do too. The H.I.S. ministry serves people who have practical needs such as fixing a broken step, patching a hole in a wall, replacing a faucet, mowing the lawn, or who need help moving.

We can serve our community by asking our church family to look for the needs of neighbors and friends.

This group also helps with non-routine maintenance of our campus.

If you need help with any of the practical things listed above, please fill out this form or call 503-644-3156 ext. 310 to leave a message.

The Jesus Table

We host a free meal with a touch of community every Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Gym. The Jesus Table is open to anyone in our area who needs a hot meal. These are challenging times. Many struggle just to meet basic physical needs from week to week. Through this gathering our goal is to give a bit of rest from these struggles and provide a sense of connection and belonging. Contact for more information.

Mending the Soul

Mending the Soul is a ministry that provides Biblical, research-based curriculum and resources to men and women whose lives have been affected by various forms of abuse, trauma and brokenness. In a Mending the Soul group you will explore the nature of abuse, learn how it has impacted you, and engage in healing as you reconnect with God and others in a confidential, safe, and loving environment. Groups are made up of 3-5 people of the same gender and typically last 14-16 weeks.

To talk with someone or get more information, leave a message on our confidential line at 503-644-3156 ext. 312 or email

Soul Care

Soul Care is offered without cost or obligation. Caregivers are trained and participate in regular supervision.

Visitation Teams
God calls us to be in relationship with one another. There are times when people can’t attend church regularly and we get to step in. The church provides support in times of difficulty, encouragement, and individual connection with people who are home bound, or otherwise limited.

Visitation team members become an extended family to those in the hospital, in extended care facilities, or confined to their homes. A listening ear, a kind spirit, and some available time are the primary requirements. There are many ways you can serve that will fit your schedule. We would love to hear from you if you would like to learn more about this important ministry.

If you, or someone you know would benefit from a visit, please let us know!
